The 2-5 year olds are FALL-owing Jesus through dancing and singing worship songs, experiencing engaging lessons, unleashing their creativity through crafting and so much more! Last week they learned “I can praise God with music!” They will be continuing to expand on that big idea this week through the Bible story out of 2 Chronicles chapter 20 where they will learn about how King Jehoshaphat Sings to God. The Memory Verse for Sprouts is out of Psalm 95:1 and it says, “Come let us sing for joy to the Lord.”

ELEMENTARY

Oasis kids are FALL-ing in love with Jesus! During their Sunday morning experiences they are growing in their faith through Presence-filled prayers, powerful, interactive worship, and playful, yet practical Bible lessons. The 1st-6th graders began to study The Beatitudes last week. The emphasis was on the first 2 blessings, “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for Him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

This week they will be learning the meaning of Jesus’s next 2 blessings, “God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth. God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.” The students are learning about the blessings that Jesus taught through His Sermon on the Mount in a fun, memorable way this month. Over the course of October the students will be memorizing Matthew 5:3-12 together!
