What Your Kids are Learning: October 4

Our 2-5 year olds in Sprouts are FALL-owing Jesus through dancing and singing worship songs, experiencing engaging lessons, unleashing their creativity through crafting and so much more! During this week’s lesson they will be learning, “I can praise God with music!” They will discover through the Bible story out of 2 Chronicles 5 How King Solomon built a temple to create a place to worship God. The Memory Verse for Sprouts is out of Psalm 95:1 and it says, “Come let us sing for joy to the Lord.”

ELEMENTARY

While a powerful service was unfolding here in the main sanctuary, the Oasis Kids were simultaneously experiencing a synergy that only God could orchestrate in a way that a child could understand. They were wrapping up their For My City series and learning about the River of God flowing out of The New City out talked about in Revelation 21 and their memory verse was Revelation 21:6b "To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.” 

This week they will begin to study The Beatitudes where they will be learning about the blessings that Jesus taught through His Sermon on the Mount.

COMING UP

Immediately after church, next Sunday, October 11th, the 1st through 6th grade kids will be attending a rehearsal with the worship team. This will only take about 30 minutes at the most and we ask for all 1st through 6th graders please attend as they will be singing with the worship team on Sunday morning, October 18th. If you are the parents or guardian of a 1st through 6th grader, there will be no need to come check your students out from the kids building as they will walk over with Pastor Angela to meet you at the rehearsal.
