PRESCHOOL

Each week we love encouraging our 2-5 year olds to discover characteristics and promises of God in a way that’s fun and comprehensible to them. 

This week they’re continuing to learn the big idea that God can do miracles! Their Bible reference will be 2 Kings 4:8-37 where they’re going to learn about “Elisha and the Sick Boy.” Through story time, playtime, and activities, they will be learning about how Elisha brings a boy back to life with God’s help. The emphasis is for the kids to realize and believe with their childlike faith that God still does miracles!

Their memory verse for this week is “With people, this is impossible. But with God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 (NIrV)

ELEMENTARY

Whether it be through worship, times of prayer, skits, games, crafts, or small groups, the methods change, but the goal is the same: we’re creating an atmosphere for the Oasis Kids to encounter God and grow their relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit!

Over the last couple of weeks our 1st through 6th graders have been studying the Beatitudes. They will be continuing on in that study and this week they will be learning “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy;” as well as “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”  

The students have been taking on the challenge of memorizing all of Matthew 5:3-12 together and so far, they are half way there and doing a wonderful job of hiding God’s Word in their hearts!
