One
of your proudest moments ever? Watching my daughter
bravely endure 21 hours of labor with such quiet determination
that she was going to get though it, and she did, with the
birth of our first grandson, Kyle.
Why
did you first come to Oasis? I've always been here,
even before the church was incorporated. We were part of the
group that started the church way back in 1977. Pastor Tim
is my brother-in-law and Carol is my sister.
What's
one thing people don't know about you? I would rather
read a book that do anything else.
Your
favorite book? The "Mitford" books by Jan
Karon and "Harriet The Spy" from childhood.
Best
advice you've ever received? Things always look better
in the morning.
What's
your idea of a perfect day? Warm with a nice breeze,
an iced coffee, and a book. No distractions.
Your
last purchase? An iced coffee.
What's
your favorite movie? You've Got Mail.
What's
your biggest challenge? Taking time to stay prayed
up and in the Word when the whole world seems to be trying
to steal my attention. |
